TeroLab Surface GmbH subscribes to behaviour based on integrity and ethical correctness. TLS has therefore recognised the Code of Conduct of the Association for Supply Chain Management, Procurement and Logistics (BME) as a binding set of rules.
Alexander Steiner, the new procurement manager at TeroLab Surface GmbH, encourages supplier management that encompasses themes such as compliance and sustainable management.
This is why he has joined the BME Code of Conduct Initiative, which has defined a set of standards for this purpose. Besides taking a holistic perspective, the initiative has published special guidelines to counter the following corporate social responsibility risks:
- Child labour
- Antitrust violations by suppliers
- Money laundering and terrorist financing
- Abuse of restrictions on foreign trade (export controls)
- Greenhouse gas emissions
This is a further step in support of the TLS corporate strategy of social responsibility and sustainable management to make us a credible and trustworthy partner for you, our customers.
